PUAKO COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

The mission of the Puako Community Association is to use the tools of organized citizen commitment to protect the quality of life in Puako at a personal and legislative level. We recognize that the responsibilities of this mission are to maintain and preserve the healthy, safe, inclusive and unstructured nature of our community; to promote awareness and protection of our unique environmental assets of reef, shoreline and forest, including the turtles, fish, birds and whales that inhabit these areas; to welcome visitors and to share with them our feelings for the beauty of our neighborhood and for our cultural history, in the spirit of aloha.

Become a Member!

If you haven't already registered as a user of the Puako Community Forum on the News Page, please do so. That way, we can automatically let you know whenever this website has been updated or there's been new discussion on a topic that you've expressed interest in.

In the meantime, check back from time to time to get the latest news items.

Also, if you're not already, we'd like to encourage you to become a member of the Puako Community Association. Just send us an email with your name and mailing address and we'll take it from there. Annual dues are $25, but anything over that is welcome. The PCA is a Non-Profit 501 C3 organization and all membership fees and additional donations are tax deductable. Donations from owners, residents and friends have already helped fund necessary Puako projects from the reef study through the dump improvements to the continuing maintenance of the mauka firebreak. Help us keep Puako the kind of community in which we can all have pride.

Get Involved!

The PCA board meets regularly the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Vacation Rental Office next to the Puako General Store. Everyone is Welcome!
